Dementia Services
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all our groups are suspended while we follow government and clinical guidelines. There are options to meet via online sessions instead or connect with the service in other ways. Please see our Virtual Day Care for more information.
Age Exchange’s Caring Together Service helps older people to improve their lives by using reminiscence and the arts. We support people living with long-term conditions like dementia, and their carers, by providing group activities throughout the week, and one-to-one tailored support for carers in the community.
If you are a carer or looking for a specific service, Age Exchange offers a several reminiscence arts programmes under Caring Together:
- Day Care services and 1:1 services for people living with dementia and their carers
- A group for people under 65 living with dementia (the Kaleidoscope Cafe)
- A Sunday group for all older people and their carers (Sundays at Sunfields)
- Weekly reminiscence and arts-based groups for people living with dementia and their carers
