New Café Manager appointed

We are so happy to welcome Emma Denning as our new Café Manager. Emma used to run her own café Emma’s Pantry at Shrewsbury House Community Centre and brings with her a huge amount of experience and creative ideas she plans to implement in the café. Along with Emma we have recruited part time cafe workers Jen De Mendonca and Kate Chubb and Aileen Murray continues to work with us. We really feel the café now has a complete team with great ideas and recipes! Look out for our summer menu and exciting new events.

Enjoy a selection of sandwiches, toasties and light lunches including soup recipes freshly prepared in our kitchen. Ground coffee, hot drinks and tasty cakes and treats available all day.

We have daily specials, discounts and a kids menu. With gluten and dairy free, vegan, vegetarian options.

We are looking for volunteers to help our team in the cafe serve our delicious freshly prepared soups, toasties, salads and tasty treats

Café volunteers are all ages, from their teens to their 80s. Volunteering is part of our commitment to intergenerational activities enabling younger and older volunteers to work together.

Volunteering is a stepping stone to employment for some of our volunteers. We accept work placements for those aged 14-19.
