Age Exchange supports people living with dementia and their carers, by providing group activities throughout the week.
At Age Exchange in Blackheath we provide creative activities, advice, support and somewhere to relax and have fun.

Creative Dementia projects in Blackheath
Note that our groups are on break from 21 August and reopen on 4 September
Tuesday
Day Care
11am-3pm
Meaningful, sensory activity, music, movement, craft and reminiscence arts.
£10 per session including lunch (free for carers)
Thursday
Kaleidoscope Cafe
10.30am-12.30pm
A creative activities and music group for those under 65 living with young onset dementia and their carers.
£6 per session
Happy Horners Thursday Club
12.45-2.45pm
Accessible reminiscence arts, music and crafts group.
Fully funded by the Worshipful Company of Horners
Thursday
Dance for Health
3-4.30pm
Have fun and get fit. Improve your balance, co-ordination and flexibility. Make friends and enjoy dancing in a group to music. Increase your mental and physical wellbeing. Seated or standing exercises in a Dementia Friendly group.
Free to attend for everyone over 55
All groups take place in our Bakehouse Theatre space. Access via Bennett Park or through our cafe garden.
