Kumar Jacob, MBE (Chair)

KumarKumar Jacob MBE (Chair) 

Kumar Jacob is the Chair for Age Exchange. He took this appointment in 2014 after stepping down from the board of Christian Aid as Trustee and Vice Chair. Kumar received an MBE for charitable and voluntary services in the 2015 New Year’s Honours list. In his working life Kumar was Vice President in charge of finance, HR and IT at a computer games development and software company. He now runs his own business consultancy working within technology and the NHS on strategic projects.

Rebecca Packwood CEO

Rebecca PackwoodRebecca Packwood (Chief Executive) joined Age Exchange in March 2014.  She comes from a background of leadership in the charities sector and in the strategy and performance departments of two London housing associations, and was head of the CEO’s department at the NSPCC.  Rebecca believes strongly in the independence of the voluntary sector to be able to maintain its creativity and innovation.

Suzanne Lockett (Director of Operations)

Suzanne LockettSuzanne Lockett(Operations Director) joined Age Exchange in 1998.  Suzanne leads on developing Age Exchange’s work supporting older carers, our training programmes and on the development of our community hub. Suzanne is responsible for the recruitment and development of volunteers.  Suzanne is passionate about improving the quality of care for older people and has recently led on our ‘Delivering Dignity’ partnership with Kings College Hospital to improve the quality of care on sixteen acute wards.

David Savill (Artistic Director)

IMG_4804David Savill (Artistic Director) graduated from the London Drama Centre and joined Age Exchange in 1998. David has experience as a director, teacher and writer in the fields of theatre and reminiscence arts and is responsible for Age Exchange’s outreach and inter-generational projects.  David has created and delivered more than 250 projects since joining Age Exchange, nationally and internationally. In recent years David has led our work in developing reminiscence arts to improve the wellbeing of people with dementia.

Marion Moore (Finance Manager)

IMG_4799Marion Moore (Finance Manager) is a Cambridge graduate and Chartered Accountant, joining Age Exchange in 2014.  Marion has extensive experience working as a professional accountant and auditor specialising in the affairs of small and medium-sized charities, and undertaking financial analysis and advisory work.  Marion is also a volunteer and is a Trustee of another local charity. 

Malcolm Jones (Arts & Education Coordinator)

Malcolm GuardianMalcolm Jones (Arts and Education Coordinator) has worked with Age Exchange since 2000, leading reminiscence arts workshops and projects in care settings and with active elders. He has been involved in directing and writing plays including To Care For and Children of The Great War.  Previously Malcolm has set up community theatre projects and worked at the Royal Opera House and the Theatre Museum in Covent Garden. Malcolm has lectured and taught at the V&A, RADA, Mountview, Rose Bruford, The Actors Centre and for Road Scholars USA.

Belinda Sosinowicz (Health and Wellbeing Coordinator)

BelindaBelinda Sosinowicz (Health and Wellbeing Coordinator) Belinda has managed the RADIQL research programme since its launch in 2013. Her professional background and postgraduate training is in design and positive psychology which enables her to bring a robust understanding of both the arts and science fields. For the past 20 years she has been a key player in developing the arts and mental wellbeing sector and has worked organisations such as Well London, The Mayor’s Office, DoH, SLAM, LAHF, Kings Fund, Unilever Plc and Cambridge University.

Gülen Petty (Fundraising Officer)

Gulen websiteGülen Petty (Fundraising Officer) joined Age Exchange in August 2015. Gülen has an extensive experience as a fundrasing manager for national charities, including MS Society and Missing People raising vital funds, extending charity fundraising portfolios and building long lasting relationship with supporters. Before starting to work for non profit organisations Gülen was a senior scientist working in pharmaceutical companies, reseraching and teaching organic chemistry at universities. She has a BSc hons in Chemistry from Anadolu University, Turkey, MSc and PhD in Synthetic Organic Chemistry from University of East Anglia, Norwich.

Alex Mustapha (Administrator)

Alex websiteAlex Mustapha (Administrator) Alex has a BA in History of Art & English Literature from the University of Sussex, joining Age Exchange in 2013 as assistant to the Operations Director. Previously she was employed at the parliamentary lobbying organization Stonewall, on their campaign to end homophobic bullying in schools. Alex is a vintage fashion writer who has been published by Queens of Vintage, The Vintage Guide to London and Trojan Publishing and sub-edits & writes some copy for Age Exchange literature.
