Age Exchange Training calendar
All Together Now! A Music And Dementia training Day
No musical experience necessary! This one day course will open the door to delivering a variety of musical activities including warm ups, singing, percussion, musical reminiscence, and more.
Aimed at carers, activities co-ordinators, volunteers and community musicians, the course will provide ways of making the benefits of music making accessible to those wanting to deliver in both group and one-to-one settings.
Despite the large body of evidence promoting the benefits that engaging with music brings to both those living with dementia and their carers, there is little guidance about how to get started. This course aims to make the joy of music accessible to everyone.
Date and Time: 28th February from 10am to 4pm

Age Exchange has a long history of providing reminiscence arts training. Our clients include care homes, centres for education, museums, housing associations, libraries, individual carers, and community groups looking to set up reminiscence groups or build on the skills and practices they currently use.
Our most popular courses are delivered at our centre in cycles throughout the year, and it can also be arranged for a trainer to visit your organization.
