Creative Caring

Age Exchange is delighted to have received a major 2-year grant from The City Bridge Trust to support a major reminiscence programme for residential homes and dementia care cafes across London. Central to the City Bridge Trustprogramme is training and mentoring of care staff, enabling them to work closely with Age Exchange project workers and learn complimentary skills in person centred care and reminiscence work. Each year of activity will be completed with a major seminar in London, enabling staff and residents to share findings and experience. Health care professionals, including carers, nurses and activity coordinators will be invited to these events where there will also be an opportunity to take part in practical workshops. If you would like to know more about CREATIVE CARING please contact Meg Hamilton at Age Exchange.
