We’re excited to share some big news with you – Age Exchange has a brand-new look and website!

Based in Blackheath, Age Exchange has been transforming lives for more than 40 years. We’re proud to be a leading arts and social care charity, using the power of arts, culture, creativity and social connection to empower people who access care and support.

Every year, we deliver thousands of hours of person-centred programmes that help people to grow in skills, confidence and joy. At the heart of this is our much-loved Blackheath Hub, welcoming more than 180,000 visitors annually to enjoy our café, library, exhibitions and performances, alongside vital care and support services. Nationally, we also work with leading cultural organisations – including our sister charity, Community Integrated Care – to champion independence, wellbeing and inclusion.

Our bold new identity reflects the vibrancy, diversity and creativity that defines Age Exchange today. It marks the start of an exciting new chapter – one where we continue to build on our legacy and bring even more creativity, connection and joy to people’s lives.

Rebekah Adey, CEO of Age Exchange, said, “We are proud to be a charity with a national voice and a local heart. Our new brand represents the vibrancy, diversity, and innovation that defines us – but our mission remains unchanged: to empower and enable people through creativity and connection.”

She continued, “Every day we see how the power of the arts can break down barriers, celebrate individuality, and help people grow in skills, confidence and joy. We believe our refreshed look reflects this spirit perfectly and shines a light on the joyful impact we make here in our Blackheath community and across the UK.”

This is just the beginning of our next chapter and we’d love for you to be part of it. Whether you’d like to visit our Hub, access our services, volunteer, fundraise, partner with us, or simply enjoy a coffee and conversation, there’s a place for you at Age Exchange.
