Blackheath Village Community Library

The Exchange is host to Blackheath Village Community Library, part of the Lewisham library consortium (LCC)

We are a small library, coordinated and staffed by local volunteers. We have a varied catalogue of adult, teenage and children’s fiction, academia and textbooks, and a few computers with internet access.

Due to the size of the building at Age Exchange we are taking a staged approach to reopening to give us time to ensure that we keep everyone safe.

We plan to open the library a month later on Tuesday 1st June, we will release more details about the plans for library re-opening later.

The safety of our supporters and volunteers are our priority and we look forward to welcoming you to our library when it is safe to do so.

Although the library is closed we are selling books in our community café. A small selection from our popular Book Sale is available in the café shop.
