Lydia Thurgar (Development Officer) is an occupational therapist with a clinical specialism in dementia care. She has supported individuals and their carers in both the NHS and the charity sector. Lydia has developed and delivered training programmes for health and social care staff, promoting person-centred, therapeutic interventions with compassion and connectivity at their core. Passionate about arts and health, Lydia believes that meaningful, creative engagement has a transformative effect on health and well-being. She also has a degree in English and enjoys classic literature.
