A message from Chair of Trustees Bridget Prentice
Our current CEO Rebecca Packwood will be leaving Age Exchange at the end of October to take up a new role as CEO of the Progressive Supranuclear Palsy Association (PSPA). She has been at Age Exchange for seven and a half years and it’s been a fantastic journey; Rebecca has shown immense leadership, has been hugely innovative at a time of uncertainty and change and we will all miss her enormously. Nevertheless the time comes when someone needs to find new challenges and we all know Rebecca will rise to those successfully. We send her off with our thanks and very best wishes.
We have started the process to recruit a replacement and plan to make an appointment by the end of September. If you are interested in applying to run an innovative and exciting charity you can find out more here.
A message from Rebecca Packwood, CEO
Being CEO at Age Exchange has been an amazing experience from working with a talented and dedicated team of staff and volunteers, growing our dementia services, fun trips to the seaside and cinema, dressing up as an Elf for Santa’s Grotto and leading the organisation through our response to the pandemic I have really loved it all.
However I feel it is time to move on and try something new and that Age Exchange needs some new energy and new ideas. It is a fantastic organisation to run and I hope that my replacement will enjoy being part of the Age Exchange family as much as I have.
