Wednesdays 2-4.pm provides arts and craft activities for older people receiving care and their carers from any area. No artistic experience necessary!
Thursdays 1-3pm is a creative activities and support session for those who are living with dementia and their carers.
SUNDAYS AT SUNFIELDS
Fortnightly Sundays 1-4pm is a newer group welcoming ALL older people and their carers to join us for lunch and lighthearted activities, including reminiscence, arts and music. Sunfields Methodist Church, 95 Old Dover Road, Blackheath, London, SE3 8SJ
1:1 CARING TOGETHER SERVICE FOR CARERS
This initiative provides the opportunity for carers to receive individually tailored support. During sessions we are able to organise respite on-site at Age Exchange, with our volunteers staying with those who receive care in our Cafe or garden area enjoying tea or coffee together.
FOR THOSE LIVING WITH DEMENTIA
We are able to work 1:1 with a limited number of those who are isolated and unable to leave their homes, whether this is due to symptoms of dementia, agoraphobia, mobility issues, or for another reason.
We welcome anyone identifying as a carer whether they are family, friends, neighbours, agency workers, live-in carers or staff looking after someone. If you would like to access any of these services, please send us a message or call Aga (for Day Care), Jacqueline or Alex for other services on 020 8138 9105
