Parallel London is the world's first inclusive push/run. Disabled and non-disabled unite to run, walk, wheel, push or be pushed, this is the event for absolutely all abilities! It takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home to the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Participants are welcome to use whatever it takes to finish the course, from day, electric and racing wheelchairs to race-runners, walking frames and children’s buggies. Participants who need a helping hand can bring a buddy to push, guide or accompany them around the course free of charge.
On the day
There will be a range of exciting, fun and interactive environments on the day, such as food and drink, charity village, technology, arts, culture and literature, family and quiet spaces, fitness and active lifestyle events.
Why get involved
Whatever your physical ability is by participating in Parallel London you’ll improve your physical ability, share your experience with like-minded people, enjoy a day with family and friends and feel like an Olympic champion. If these are not enough reasons to take part you’ll also be helping Age Exchange with your fundraising.
Children must be accompanied by an adult and there is a maximum of two children per adult participant.
Thank you for helping Age Exchange to continue with our mission to transform lives through reminiscence and to combat loneliness in older age, so no one face life alone.
At Age Exchange we bring generations together for a brighter future where no memory is lost.
